Summer Camp at Camp Wightman
Campers are welcomed to a time and place away. They step out of their comfort zones and away from their electronics to experience life in a new and powerful way. Lodging is in cabins based on the age of the campers. This fun, interactive experience helps campers with self confidence and enables them to experience God’s creation firsthand. Enjoy boating, swimming, art, nature, archery, campfires, smores and so much more!
What camp looks like here
Our summer camp weeks run for ages 6 thru 16, with programs designed to meet kids where they are. Each week has its own theme and energy, but every week includes the same foundation: outdoor adventure, real friendships, faith conversations that don't feel forced, and the kind of community you don't find anywhere else.
Activities include swimming and boating on Billings Lake, archery, arts and crafts, hiking, gaga ball, campfires, chapel, and more — all on our 270-acre property in the heart of Griswold, CT.
Who's here with your camper
Our counselors are trained, background-checked, and genuinely invested in the kids they serve. Many of them were campers here first. The staff-to-camper ratio stays small by design — because connection is the whole point.
Financial help is available
We believe every child deserves a week at camp, regardless of what a family can afford. Campership funds are available.
