LIVE THE STORY 2018 CAMP WIGHTMAN

*Realizing families have different abilities to pay, Camp Wightman has instituted a three-tier fee structure where possible. Choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. If you are receiving support from your church or other organization, please use the highest tier.

Junior Counselor Training- June 28-July 3 Come learn, practice and master leadership and fellowship skills to serve in a variety of roles at camp. Understand what it involves to be in program, how to lead worship and devotions as well as understanding the other ministries that make up the camp environment. Trainees will be placed into programs based on age and maturity. (Ages:15-18) $685

New Friends- June 30-July 1 Parents and/or guardians, bring your first time campers to “try camp on for size.” This 24-hour program introduces the activities and fun found on God’s 275 acre site. Enjoy your camper and the fellowship of others as you join in the swimming, boating, crafts and campfire fun. (Ages: All) Adult $95/ Child $55

Wightman Works- June 28- July 3 -Spend some time with other adults to prepare the camp for the Summer 2020 season. Mix work with fun and fellowship for a meaningful five-day experience, giving of your time and talents. (Ages:18 & Up) $125

Adult as Special Campers I-ASC- (Retreat Housing) June 28- July 3 Provides a wellsupervised fun environment where persons 21 and older with special challenges can explore camp life. Enjoy campfires, cookouts, archery, music, fishing, crafts, and horseshoes, along with Christian worship and fellowship that you will remember all year. (Ages: 21 & Up) $650/$595/$555

Chaos- July 5-10 A week of fun and fellowship: Choose from the “kiosk” of great activities with your camper friends. Hiking, Gaga, campfires, field games, lots of beach time, and much more. (Ages: 6-9) $595/$555/$505

CW Explorers-July 5-10 Camp Wightman Explorers will have many chances to investigate the bear/waterfront caves, waterfront wonders, and action packet activities that will make this week special. Spend some time in our Pioneer Village and if you’d like, try out an overnight in a covered wagon. (Ages:10-14) $595/$555/$505

SENIOR HIGH CAMP-July 19-24 NEW THIS SUMMER!!! This camp features many opportunities for fellowship as we lounge at the beach, enjoy the hammock village, float about Billings Lake, and end each night at the fire for great snacks and songs. Games, music, and food are at the top of our list as we enjoy all that God has created here at camp. (Ages:14-18) $595/$555/$505

Campelodeon-July 26-31 Experience awesome activities and make new friends. Enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, field games, Gaga, cookouts and of course storytelling/singing around the campfire! (Ages:6-10) $595/$555/$505

Sportopia-July 26-31 Spend a week in the sport mode of your choice with Gaga, kickball, volleyball, triathlon, capture the flag as well as water and beach activities like paddleboards and yoga. Plenty of time for fellowship. Finishing off the week with Camp Wightman’s Amazing race! (Ages:11-15) $595/$555/$505

All Things Aquatic-Aug 9-14 For all of you water lovers, this is your camp. Explore the waterfront through kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing. Enjoy a water picnic, explore the waterfront caves or join in a game of beach volleyball. There are lots of aquatic surprises in store! Learn about God through songs, crafts, cookouts, and campfires. (Ages:11-18) $595/$595/$505

Mountain Bike Adventure- Aug 9-14 (Space Limited) We are off on a biking adventure. Join this group as we sleep and bike in and around the greater Griswold area. Our itinerary will take us to many sites in this beautiful part of Connecticut. (Permission slips required-bikes provided) (Ages:13-18) $685

Family Fusion I & II- Aug 9-14 An amazing place to spend time with your family, other families while enjoying God’s world. Utilize all camp has to offer including waterfront activities, hiking, archery, arts & crafts, cookouts and more. (Ages: All) 12 & Up - $470/$420/$365 and 2-11 - $295/$245/$195

Summer’s Last Blast-Aug 16-21 Our last youth Camp session is loaded with all the incredible activities that make camp, camp. We have six days to celebrate summer’s end so the schedule will be jam-packed, and filled with the best activities and special events of Wightman 2019. (Ages:13-18) $595/$545/$505

Billings Blast-Aug 16-21 This end of summer session is packed with activities that will keep you going from morning until night. Get in on all the waterfront has to offer, along with hiking, field games, campfires, lots of songs and the ever popular Gaga. God’s world is a blast! (Ages:8-12) $595/555/505

Musical Bliss-Aug 21-23 Camp Wightman’s summer wraps up with a final weekend celebration of music, food, and fellowship. Enjoy learning to play instruments like banjo, guitar, mandolin, bass, and autoharp as a beginner or advanced player. Listen to awesome live music and spend a relaxing time swimming, boating, great food and singing at the campfire. (Ages: All) $165

Adult as Special Campers-ASC IIAug 23-28 (Clark Village) Provides a wellsupervised fun environment where persons 21 and older with special challenges can explore camp life. Enjoy campfires, cookouts, and all sorts of activities like archery, exploring nature, fishing, crafts, horseshoes, plus great Christian fellowship and worship. (Ages:21&Up) $650/$595/$555

​ Wightman Welcomes You-Aug 23-26 Camp is 64-- so let’s celebrate! Enjoy a special weekend to salute this milestone of our dear summer home. Enjoy all that camp has offered over the last few decades. Meet up with old friends and make new ones, too, as we fellowship together.
