Camp Wightman Covid-19 Health and Safety Protocols
To prioritize the health and safety of our campers, retreat attendees, visitors, and staff, Camp Wightman has adopted Covid-19 recommendations from the State of Connecticut and the CDC. There is a Covid waiver found with the check-in paperwork under "FORMS & Packing List" on our website.  As guidance evolves, adjustments will be made as needed. If you have specific questions please call the Camp office.

Face Coverings
The community is invited wear face coverings at there own discretion but they are not currently mandated at Camp Wightman.

Hand Washing & Sanitizing
Regular hand washing will be incorporated into our daily schedule.  Hand sanitizer will also be readily available throughout camp.

Disinfecting & Cleaning
Camp will maintain increased disinfecting and cleaning protocols.

Summer Camp:

Group Sizes

Campers will move through their day in small groups.  Group sizes will be determined based on the latest guidance from Connecticut’s Office of Early Childhood.

If possible, it is recommended to avoid unnecessary travel for a week prior to attending camp.

Pre-Screening, Testing, Vaccination – possible:
Prior to attending camp if you are feeling sick we ask for you to perform an at home pre-screening. If you test positive please contact the camp office for additional information on the possibility of rescheduling or refunding your stay at camp.
