Action, Sun, Friends, Faith
Those four words above have one thing in common...Camp Wightman!
Wondering why we chose these photos to highlight? They are great examples of the incredible relationships that grow between staff and campers in as little as a week at camp. Our staff LOVE your kids! They love working outside, sharing their faith, and teaching new skills like swimming or archery or how to hold a tennis racket, too, but they really LOVE your kids, love getting to know them, and love growing friendships with them!
And, your children and teens LOVE our staff. We work hard at hiring the best of the best. We hire young adults:
If your child or teen is a returning camper, you might ask them to tell you about the counselor who has meant the most to them and why they chose that person. It could be eye-opening for both of you! If you have a new camper, you can talk confidently about the adults who will be with your child at camp -- you have the inside scoop now :).

And, your children and teens LOVE our staff. We work hard at hiring the best of the best. We hire young adults:
- who love God, have a faith journey to share, and want to share it;
- who love kids and working with them in an outdoor setting;
- who have a heart for helping every single camper feel at home here at CW and can help them feel comfortable enough to be themselves...not who they think they need to be to fit in at school or on the sports team or in some other group;
- and who have struggled with the same things your kids are struggling with today -- technology use, growing up, figuring out where they are being called in a world that is focused on money and fame, staying child-like in a world that pushes children to be more and more sophisticated earlier and earlier, and how to make life choices that glorify God and reflect a deep sense of faith and trust in our God.
