January 30, 2008 - Don Mace, a
longtime volunteer at Camp Wightman
as a member of the Thursday Crew and of the Bristol Baptist Church on
their work weekends passed away suddenly this week. He was
86. A memorial service will be held at the Bristol Baptist
Church on Saturday, February 2, 2008.

30, 2008 - This year Camp Wightman will again be
participating in the Healthy Camp Study, a
research project being done by the American Camp Association, the
Association of Camp Nurses, the Columbus Children's Research Institute
and the Ohio State University. During our participation in
the project we will report anonymous injury and illness data which will
help researchers identify areas of risk and develop actions to reduce
risk of injury and illness in the camp setting.
