Donations are greatly appreciated and graciously accepted at Camp Wightman. Donations go towards a variety of different things including camperships, a variety of building and facility maintenance projects both large and small, purchase of needed equipment and furnishings as well as supplies for the summer camp season. If you like to make a donation, please send checks to the camp address or by credit card via the online donation button below.

We are excited to offer our brand new Camp, Retreat and Conference Center Cookbooks! Filled with over 160 of your favorite salads, soups, appetizers, entrees and desserts, they are a perfect addition to any kitchen. Give one away and keep one for yourself! Did we mention the baked oatmeal recipe is included?

In addition, we still have a few blue Camp Wightman ornaments. Each one is uniquely designed with our logo on one side and the bell on the other. Pick one up, send it as a gift or save it for next Christmas!

Is Camp Wightman for Baptists Only? PDF Print E-mail

No. Camp Wightman welcomes all who want to participates fully in our Summer Camping Programs. Please read our Camp brochure and camp descriptions to better understand our summer programing.

 

Camp Wightman is also available for retreats!  We welcome all who want a retreat away from the "hustle and bustle" of everyday life.  We are an alcohol free facility with very limited smoking areas.

Summer camping at Camp Wightman has been happening for the past fifty-four summers and as the fiftieth anniversary poster said "50 Years of Life Changing Experiences." Quite often, we will have visitors make their way back to Camp to take a trip down memory lane. On more than one occasion, we've heard stories of how spending summers at Camp Wightman changed their lives.

Following an exhaustive search process, Mr. Thomas Hall has been called to be ABCCONN's Minister of Camping and Conferences. Tom and his wife Tink Rabey-Hall will be moving to camp in January and he will begin his duties on January 17, 2012.
